Datastick SpectrumSC software is part of the Datastick SiteConnex VSA-2215 Vibration Spectrum Analyzer system. Datastick Spectrum runs on the Palm Treo smartphone and makes it easy to collect and analyze vibration waveforms and spectra for machine condition monitoring, predictive maintenance and routine troubleshooting. Reloadable configurations let you change input and display parameters instantly and perform repeatable route inspections easily.
And when you need to share information without delay, you can email your vibration data directly from Datastick SpectrumSC.

(0, 60, 120, 300, 600 CPM).
- Auto range: Yes, including optional auto-range on zoom; or manual range settings. It is also possible to auto-range any individual view on the display.
- Cursor-position display tools:
- Zoom tool: zoom in up to 64x and zoom out to full spectrum. Zoomed-in views can be panned left and right.
- Inspector tool: select any data point and display its numerical value
- Peak Inspector tool: cursor snaps to nearest peak.
- Orders tool: select any two data points and numerically display the multiple of the second point in relation to the first.
- Waveform Period tool: measures the period between any two peaks in a time-domain waveform.
- Peak Orders tool: select any two peaks and numerically display the multiple of the second peak in relation to the first.

| To use the DirectZoom™ feature, simply use the touchscreen to highlight the area of interest and lift the smartphone's stylus. (Automatic peak detection has labeled four peaks in this view.) |
Zoomed-in view of the area highlighted at left. The Inspector cursor tool (the black vertical line) shows the value of any data point touched by the stylus. Overall vibration and colored alert is shown above the FFT graph. |
 |
 |
| In the time domain, overall vibration is always shown with peak values on the left side of the graph, top and bottom; and with the RMS value above the graph. |
FFT overall vibration display can be turned off, or you can select from two ISO options and two non-ISO options, including user-definable custom alert levels. |
 |
 |
| Datastick Spectrum doesn't force you to remember ISO machine classes. Simply select the machine-type you want when using ISO overall-vibration alert levels. |
You can set user-definable custom alert levels for any inspection point. Simply enter the desired value for velocity and/or displacement for any alert level. |
 |
 |
| A zoomed-in portion of a Vibration Decibel (VdB) spectrum without Datastick's View Optimization. The dB scale tends to compress peaks into the top of the scale, making them more difficult to see. |
The same portion of the zoomed-in VdB spectrum with View Optimization turned on. Irrelevant noise is removed and peaks are proportionally magnified, making them stand out sharply. |

 |
| Numbers don’t always tell the whole story. Analysis is easier and more accurate when you have all the facts, and Datastick makes it easy with the versatile Add Note dialog box. Simply make a note and it is attached to your data for export to your PC. |
Repeatable route inspections are vital for accurate trending. Datastick’s reloadable configuration feature helps you to take the same measurement the same way each time. Datastick Reporting System software on the PC sorts by configuration to build histories. |
 |
 |
| The Configuration menu logically groups functions for fast, intuitive use. Spend less time on training and more time getting the job done. |
The Setup dialog puts all commonly used parameters in one place. Setup takes seconds and every setup can be saved and reused at a later time. |

| Datastick ReviewSC lets you compare previous reads with the current read in Datastick Spectrum. Datastick Spectrum software has all the controls for setting up configurations and collecting, saving, and displaying data. Here, the Zoom tool has been used to zoom in on the current FFT of a pump bearing in Datastick Spectrum. And you can email directly from Datastick Review SC |
Here, Datastick ReviewSC software is showing the previous month's FFT of the same pump. Datastick Review has the same cursor tools as Datastick Spectrum. And, Datastick ReviewSC shows the same zoom, pan, and scale as is displayed in Datastick Spectrum: When you zoom or pan in Spectrum, the same zoomed-in frequency span appears in Review. |
