Datastick’s Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Program is for partners interested in delivering one-stop shopping for their customers by integrating, bundling, and shipping Datastick technology with their added-value solution. Often the added-value solution is part of a larger offering, allowing the OEM to equip its customer/channel with a complete solution.
The OEM Program is only intended for partners who are providing added value to Datastick technology. OEMs do not sell Datastick stand-alone products (see the section on Resellers and Sales Representatives if you are interested in selling Datastick stand-alone products). Datastick has an OEM program for the following Datastick solutions:
- Datastick Spectrum software for vibration data collection and analysis
- Datastick Connection software suite for data acquisition
- Datastick hardware and accessories for Data Acquisition System (DAS) and Vibration Spectrum Analyzer (VSA) solutions
- Datastick Reporting System software for the PC
- Datastick Wireless Solutions
- Your custom solution based on Datastick technology
Datastick Solutions Group
For partners and customers who seek a specialized hardware and/or software solution, Datastick has developed the Datastick Solutions Group. Please contact an applications engineer in our Datastick Solutions Group to discuss your needs if you do not see a product or technology that you are looking for on our website. The Datastick Solutions Group will determine the feasibility of enabling your application using our technology.
Datastick Wireless Solutions
Datastick provides wireless OEM partners with solutions for Bluetooth, 900 MHz, and 802.11 protocols on a semi-custom basis. Due to the current lack of standards and a restrictive computing environment, each partner’s instrument/sensor will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Specifically, Datastick will inspect the data transport protocol, and determine if, and how a connection can be made from the instrument/sensor to the Palm Powered handheld. The results of this inspection will be provided to the OEM applicant; from these results the feasibility of the OEM partnership can be determined.
